“Trong Com is a well known folk song of the Northern Vietnam, which was performed by Vietnamese and American high school students (Anh, Hanh, John & Kalia). The song has hilarious melody, which promises an interesting dance as well as brings a bit of Vietnamese culture to international friends.”

  1. Is it the time for East West Fest coming up? I was with EWCPA for 2-3 years back in 2000-2003 or so. Hey “VN” guys: what are you doing for fun at the Fest this year? I recall I participated in the fest in 2001 with a button on my dress supporting UH professors’ strike! In 2002 I sang karaoke and 2003 I joined the anti-Iraq war forum or something like that.
I tried to encourage some young scholars here in Hanoi to apply for EWC fellowship but have been having hard time to convince them because now, you know, the $$$ shrinks badly! :-).
Anyway, take care and enjoy Hawaii!
