I went to Hawaii on an EWC scholarship at a very critical time, historically. Bangladesh a war torn and ravaged country had just been born. Emotionally, economically, politically we were devastated. On retrospection it was the only and best place where I could’ve gone at that time. The ALOHA spirit enveloped and sustained me the entire time. That was more than three decades ago and I think I have had the best time of my life at the EWC. Therefore God willing I shall be there next July.
